The Anna Lindh Lecture is an annual event by Lund University and the Raoul Wallenberg Institute honoring Sweden’s late Foreign Minister, Anna Lindh. Each year, a notable figure is invited to address key human rights issues. This year, Olof Skoog will speak on the “Strategy of Human Rights”.

About the speaker: Olof Skoog, a EU Special Representative for Human Rights, and a Swedish diplomat with extensive experience from a number of top positions. Among other things, he served as the Permanent Representative of Sweden to the United Nations and also as the President of the United Nations Security Council for the months of January 2017 and July 2018. Olof Skoog works in favor of multilateralism, respect for human rights and promoting sustainable peace and development.
