The Career Committee is looking for a Career Talks Lead trustee and and Event Facilitator Trustee.
The Career Talks Lead Trustee plays a key role in organizing the Career Talks series, an initiative designed to inspire students by showcasing the wide array of career opportunities in foreign affairs. The series is traditionally held in the spring semester, but preparation begins earlier. You’ll start inviting speakers in the beginning of January to accommodate their schedules and ensure a strong lineup. We aim at start having the first career talks by the beginning of March.
The Event Facilitator Trustee is the contact person present at all events hosted by the Career Committee. They will, for example, make sure that the venue is set up and that there is fika. They will continuously be in contact and coordinate with the Heads to make sure that the events run smoothly. They should be available to help out at all in-person events with exception for Career Trips.
