Do you have a passion for discussion, public speaking, and creating spaces for diverse perspectives? As Head of Debate, you’ll be responsible for organizing and moderating UPF Lund’s debate events, from current global issues to thought-provoking political topics. You’ll help foster an open and respectful environment where members can challenge ideas, sharpen arguments, and learn from each other.
As a Board Member, you’ll also take part in shaping the overall direction of the association. Together with the rest of the board, you’ll contribute to UPF Lund’s development, ensuring that our activities stay engaging, educational, and true to our mission of promoting understanding of international affairs.
Your responsibilities will include:

Planning and hosting regular debate events and workshops

Moderating discussions and ensuring an inclusive and respectful debate culture

Collaborating with other committees and the board to integrate debates into the wider program of activities

Managing logistics, themes, and external guests for debate events

Actively participating in board meetings and contributing to strategic discussions
