The Arab Democratic Revolutions Have Just Begun
April 17 @ 17:30 - 18:30

📖 Interested in democracy in the MENA region? Join us for a lecture with the former President of Tunisia, Dr. Mohamed Moncef Marzouki, on April 17th!
Amid the decline of democratic ideals and the resurgence of authoritarianism in the Arab world, Dr. Marzouki explores whether democracy still holds relevance. Reflecting on the Arab Spring’s legacy, he examines how democratic systems must evolve in theory and practice to remain a credible alternative in today’s political landscape 🌍
Dr. Mohamed Moncef Marzouki is a human rights activist, medical doctor, and former President of Tunisia. Elected after the 2011 revolution, he championed transparency, civil liberties, and democratic dialogue. Now in exile, he continues to advocate for democracy in Tunisia and across the Arab world.
