ACTIVITY
The Activity Comittee is one of the committees in UPF that binds all the committees together, energising the community with diverse events and activities. We create experiences that cater to different interests, from hikes and field trips to pub quizzes and karaoke nights, fostering a vibrant and inclusive environment. Out highlight is the annual ball in the spring – a grand celebration. Our success relies on the enthusiasm and dedication of our committee members. Their creativity and teamwork make every event memorable, driving us to continuously innovate and excel. The Activity Committee is essential to UPF, and we celebrate our members’ contributions as we strive to build connections and create lasting memories.

Meet Activity
Louise Falk
Head of Activity & Board Member
My name is Louise, and I am one of the heads of the Activity Committee as well as a board member. I’m originally from Malmö, Sweden, but I’ve been studying at Lund University for the past three years. I completed my bachelor’s in Development Studies with a major in Political Science last spring and am now pursuing a master’s in Global Studies. I’ve had the opportunity to study abroad twice—once at Aarhus University in Denmark and again at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in the US—both of which were enriching experiences for my future career. Additionally, I’ve had the opportunity of being an international mentor, arrival day host, and Instagram ambassador for Lund University. In my free time, I enjoy hanging with friends, working out, baking, watching sci-fi movies, and following Formula 1.
Last year, I had the pleasure of helping organize the 2024 ball, which was not only a fantastic experience but also incredibly rewarding. This year we’ll start with our first-ever Novisch period, full of activities to welcome new members. From there, we have sittningar, field trips, hikes, pub quizzes, bike parties, and karaoke nights lined up. It’s shaping up to be a year filled with fun and memorable experiences for everyone!
Emelie Andersson
Head of Activity
My name is Emelie, and I am one of the two heads of the Activity Committee. I’m originally from Sweden and have spent the past four years in Lund, where I’ve truly come to love the vibrant student life and community. I’m currently pursuing my first year in the master’s program in Sociology of Law. During my free time, I love hanging out with friends, thrifting, reading, and watching reality TV!
Before taking on this role, I had the fantastic opportunity to work as one of the two Ball Coordinators during the 2023/24 academic year, which solidified my enthusiasm for the Activity Committee!
What I enjoy most about the Activity Committee is how fun and engaging it is. No matter what we’re working on, the process is just as enjoyable as the final event. The highlight for me is organizing and attending the sittnings, which are themed three-course dinner parties held at a nation, followed by a night at the club afterwards. They’re a fantastic way to bring people together in a fun, informal setting, making it easy to get to know others. Coordinating and being a part of such events capture the essence of what makes the committee so rewarding to be part of!
