On the 8th of April, we had the pleasure of welcoming Christine Hogan, Vice Chair of the Global Partnership for Education (GPE), for an insightful lecture on a topic of critical global importance: the decline in international aid and its impact on education development in low-income countries.
Christine shed light on the growing challenges facing global education funding and emphasised the essential work GPE continues to do to ensure that every child, regardless of circumstance, has access to quality education. She also spoke candidly about the road ahead — the need for innovation, collaboration, and above all, the vital role that young, creative minds can play in shaping the future of global education.
The event wrapped up with a lively and engaging discussion, as audience members posed thoughtful questions that sparked meaningful dialogue and deeper reflection on the path forward. A heartfelt thank you to Christine Hogan and the Global Partnership for Education for making this event possible, and to everyone who joined us and contributed to such a valuable conversation!
