The main purpose of the Career Committee is to provide students with an interest for working in an international environment with career opportunities and contacts. During the autumn we organize the Prep Course, which consists of 10-12 interactive seminars with people working within for example the United Nations, the European Union or the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. The aim of the course is to give participating students a unique chance to ask questions and obtain a deeper insight regarding what it takes to get a job at these international organizations.
The last application date for the Prep Course is 18/10/15. For more information about the course, click here.
The Career Committee is also responsible for arranging the Mentorship Program, which is a cooperation between us and the Diplomatic Club of Lund. The Mentorship Program links participating students with a mentor, who will provide guidance based on their professional expertise. The program provides the participating students with a chance to obtain a better understanding of what it takes to work with specific international or political issues as well as how various organizations work in practice.
The last application date for the Mentorship program is 30/11/15. More information about the program can be found here.
