The main purpose of the Career Committee is to provide students with an interest for working in an international environment with career opportunities and contacts. During the autumn we organize the Prep Course, which consists of 10-12 interactive seminars with people working within for example the United Nations, the European Union or the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. The aim of the course is to give participating students a unique chance to ask questions and obtain a deeper insight regarding what it takes to get a job at these international organizations.
Application date for the Prep Course is 20/10/13.

The Career Committee is also responsible for arranging the Mentorship Program, which is a cooperation between us and the Diplomatic Club of Lund. The students who participate in the program are given their own diplomat who will provide guidance and answer questions regarding career-related issues. The students are also encouraged to visit their mentors, in whatever country he or she may work. The trip is payed for by the Association of Foreign Affairs. Testimonials from students who have participated in the program can be found on the Mentorship Program’s blog.
Application date for the Mentorship program is 16/11/13.
